Palazzo Bagatti Valsecchi, in Milan in via Gesù 5, hosts a show of the Rossoneri’s history.
Starting from December 17 and until February 16, 2010, Palazzo Bagatti Valsecchi, in via Gesù 5 in Milan, hosts “Milan: 110 e lode!” (Milan: 110 with honours!), a unique exhibition of the trophies and memorabilia of the Rossoneri’s club. The heart of “Milan: 110 e lode!” are the awards which have made the Rossoneri the club with the most trophies in the world: 7 Champions Cup, 3 Intercontinental Cups, 1 Fifa Club World Cup, 5 European Cups and 2 Cup Winners Cup.
The visitors can also admire important and unique objects of the Rossoneri’s history: the Golden Balls won by
Kakà, Van Basten, Weah, Shevchenko and Gullit, together with the shirts, shoes, memorabilia of players who wore the Milan shirt, apart from other notes of coaches and famous tactical setups of Arrigo Sacchi’s “total football”.
These are just a part of the marvels that the Milan fans will be able to admire in a path full of emotions![]()
The show also hosts halls dedicated to the Milan Foundation and Milan Junior, to Milan Channel, who celebrates its first 10 years through a selection of historical imges – and to Dolce&Gabbana: the pictures taken of the team in summer of 2009 and autographs of the Milan champions, which will be put up for auction to collect funds which will be destined to the activities of Onlus in Via Turati.
However, the space was not created to be just an exhibition location, “Milan: 110 e lode!” will be Milan’s ‘home’ to all effect: a inhabited location, attended by all those who are part of the Club, like players, coach, directors and the Rossoneri’s glories, present during the various initiatives dedicated to the visitors.
Inside the Palace, there are also a Bookshop, for the purchase of shirts and merchandise, and a cornder, dedicated to the Rossoneri’s Heart and the subscription of the season ticket holders for the second round of the league.
In January, there will also be guided visits for some students of the primary schools, for the members of the Milan Clubs Italian Association and for the small participants to the “Milan and the Oratory” project.
Milan 110 e lode! Is open all days from 10am until 7pm, with free entrance for all visitors.
