The lake of Como, not far from Milan, is one of the places described by Manzoni. Nowadays many vips live there, football players, Hollywood stars, etc.
This video "Oh! What a girl!" by Simply Red, it was filmed in these zones I was writing about, called Brianza (around these lakes). The singer, Mich Hucknall, lives in Milan, as he married a woman from here (she's a lawyer, I've got her telephone number :)
