This is my city, the city of work and fashion. Its symbol is a golden statue of Our Lady (apart from religious meaning), called "Madunina" in Milan dialect, placed on the top of a huge Christian cathedral (the "Duomo", another Milan symbol), viewing and protecting the city from above. Her sleeves are turned up, as if she's busy working :). In fact, Milan song (see down here) says: we always have something to do...
Milano flag is the same of England, white with red Saint George cross, the same colors of other flags, as Poland, Switzerland, Monaco, Denmark, etc. Besides, that green laurel around the coat of arms is similar to the English Fred Perry symbol :)

- Translation: "oh my beautiful Lady (the statue-symbol), you shine from far, all of gold and tiny, you dominate Milan, under you we live our lives, always having something to do, they sing "far from Naples you die", but then everybody is coming to Milan... yes, come here with no fear, we'll give you a hand, all the world is the same, but Milan, it's a great Milan!"
the 2nd part is called "Let the world talk" cos many people are jealous of Milan and talk shit of it, and the "gurgunzöla" ahaha (Gorgonzola) is a kind of cheese, Liam Gallagher is crazy for it :)
