Beady Eye gig in Milan is sold out, if you need a ticket let me know.
Fred Perry sales started (soon also Pretty Green), click here (man+woman).
This is the new Amy Winehouse collection.
Fred Perry competition ended (though it's still possible to vote and see the entries, as an archive), my challenge Oasis vs Beatles finished with a 54-54 :) and I'm among the first 50 people to win the £5,000 or clothes in January.
What're you doing on 31 December? I celebrate the new year on 25 March. As Liam Gallagher, I'm not a fan of parties anymore, I'm going rarely as him, but if you are, in Milan of course there's the outrageous one @ Hollywood, or if you just wanna drink&eat loads as Liam, my advice is the German restaurant. Another one is La Padellaccia (maybe they changed name now), huge pizzas.

Thanks to all the people who voted, I'll offer you a pint, lol. Well if I win I would do something for all the people. I think in my entries there's more than enough "historical importance, spontaneity, wit" etc. required, so Mister Fred Perry could choose us :)
Some Oasis history. I remember many years ago in Milan I was with an Oasis groupie girl and an (Italian) man (who we then nicknamed Mr Tambourine Man as Bob Dylan song :) gave us all the info about a tambourine course, how weird. It is the instrument played by Kate Moss on Oasis' Fade away 2nd version (video below).
A tambourine is found in many forms of music, Italian folk music, classical music, gospel music, pop&rock music, etc. It was played in Italy even during the Roman empire (called "tympanum"), played exclusively by women while dancing (you can find it also on Giotto paintings), then called "tamburello", as today. Its shape is round to be similar to the sun (symbol of a fertility Goddess), in fact painters used to depict it in a red colour with flames around.
The way to play it, is a tradition carried on through oral communication. It's a cult item for Oasis, of course I have one. When Liam throws a tambourine to the crowd, people go mad to get it.
Will Liam (William :) Gallagher still play it with Beady Eye? He doesn't in the first video but at the gigs it's very likely.
When Liam's on stage, he commands your attention whether it be snarling out every word with limitless passion or challenging the audience to a staring out match (which he always wins !) His trademark stance - leaning up towards the mic, arms behind his back - is known the world over and has become iconic in its own right. And we literally have no idea how many tambourines he's got through over the years !
