So, in the Fred Perry&Beatles post I was writing about Alfa Romeo and my father. Shakespeare's Romeo&Juliet :)
A few time ago during the Alfa Romeo centenary celebrations at Piazza Castello square, I met an English family who came to Milan, (said the mother) just because of this. As you know the English people have great affection for cars, and this car is special.

They offered me a beer, the English are always so kind, I had many things from them, England shirts, books, scarves, Liam his pullover :), etc. The mother had 2 passions: cars and me ahahaha
It was founded in Milan in 1910 (Alfa means Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili, Milan is the capital of Lombardia region) (then in 1986 Alfa became part of Fiat), in fact you can see the symbol of Milan (an England Christian Saint George flag) in Alfa Romeo logo (and talking about football, the flag is AC Milan, the aristocratic family Visconti snake is Inter Milan).
