red: retired (Scotland-Wales and Norway-Sweden, because of economic problems)
blue: not confirmed (Hungary, Denmark, Romania, Russia, Greece)
reasons why they should choose Italy:
- Italy was also the candidate for Euro 2012 when Poland & Ukraine seemed to have problems in organizing (economic problems).
- france already hosted 2 times in 1960 and 1984 (Italy in 1968), while the World Cup in Italy in 1990 and france in 1998, so it's our turn.
- not all the people (also Turkish ones) consider Turkey part of Europe... this could cause problems.
- it's Italy :). About football: Italy is the European country who won more World Cups than anyone else (france only 1 when they played at home, easy), and it's where football was originally invented (the original version, then codified in England).
- Milan and especially the North of Italy will have more to offer, because of Milan organizing Expo 2015.
- etc.
Uefa (whose president is the french Platini...) will decide on 28 May 2010.

Le tifoserie-ultras si sono dette contrarie all'organizzazione di quest'evento, motivo in più quindi per organizzarlo, che vedrà il rilancio degli stadi, dello sport, dell'organizzazione in generale, che in Italia ne sentono proprio il bisogno.
