England's Saint George Milan flag :). Some days ago Liam Gallagher said Beady Eye next album will be more inspired by George's "All things must pass" (Liam said he cries listening to it). He was also an inspiration for style and Pretty Green clothes. And sometimes Liam also says, e.g. at the end of a Twitter twit: "Beware of darkness", as the song by George.
The other day was 20 years without Freddie Mercury, today is 10 years without my favourite Beatle, also F1 McLaren fan, see an older post on Oasisblues.
Everybody knows John Lennon is Liam's idol, some even say he thinks to be him, but it's not true. When asked about his favourite song, album, etc., it's always something by George Harrison. As album, the triple "All things must pass" (nothing ever lasts forever, lol), and as song Something (Beatles times), the biggest love song ever, also according to the Italian origins legend Frank "The Voice" Sinatra.
A curiosity: the song "Badge", co-written with Eric Clapton (they formed a close friendship in the late 1960s), was released on Cream's Goodbye album in 1969: George also played rhythm guitar on the song, and for contractual reasons, he was required to use the pseudonym "L'Angelo Misterioso" in Italian.
Noel Gallagher probably took the word Wonderwall from the psychedelic "Wonderwall music" soundtrack by George: he was also a film producer, as Liam will be soon, about the Beatles.
When I was a kid my favourite Beatle was Paul McCartney, 'cause he was the first one I've seen (and also met when we organized Literature Prizes, he also wrote poems), from Michael Jackson's duets in the '80s. And Paul had a pretty funny face, the girls liked him, so it was easy for a kid to take him as favourite one.
From George in those years I remember "I got my mind set on you", funny video for a kid.
But since I started to have a deep knowledge of the Beatles, I can say George is my favourite: the vast majority of their songs were "Lennon/McCartney", but his (22 in total) songs with them (also, Here comes the sun, While my guitar gently weeps, etc., and as solo artist My sweet lord, Wah wah, etc.), are precious stones in music history.
Photo: with Pattie Boyd, an Oasis groupie was very similar to her.

Tribute day to George (when you want), you know he was the most inspired one by Indian culture, and most mysterious (because he was introvert).
I was born and spent all my life near this place. This is a hidden street where I used to buy the newspapers everyday, and in fact the name is Press Street (via Stampa). There's also live music and dance shows in this Indian restaurant in Milan historic centre, Sarla www.sarla.it
I love spicy food as the Indian one (and Mexican), and it's also Liam's favourite one. Sometimes I cook Indian even at home, I make the Prawn Biryani, that is spicy rice with curry, shrimps (Jean Shrimpton :), coconut, onion, to eat while drinking tea. One time in another Indian restaurant quite close to this one, a waiter FORCED me ahaha to finish a dish (it was a VERY spicy tomato soup), 'cause probably accepting to eat the whole dish means "good manners" for Indian people, otherwise it would mean you don't like it. My friends were wondering how I could eat that, but almost every day I eat spicy food.
The Football English pub where Oasis used to go, it's near here and next to it there's a Hare Krishna place :))

some beautiful songs by George:
My sweet Lord (where Noel Gallagher copied some Supersonic and Hindu Times)
Wah wah (from my compilation)

Oasis' To Be Where There's Life (song by Beady Eye's Gem Archer), with Indian sitar
Oasis using Indian sitar from minute 5:50
Oasis covering George's Within You Without You

Let's go with the first Christmas song :), another video I've made with some photos of mine from this "impossible" city and an early version of "Let there be love" demo, remixed (from a bootleg of "Fuckin' in the bushes"). I first heard this song in 1999 (published in 2005) 'cause an Oasis groupie girl gave me on a tape.
Maybe no Led lights festival this year (and no Paul's artwork, the Kiss under the mistletoe), it was a psychedelic experience for years, but from the beginning of December until January there should still be the biggest (natural) Christmas tree in the world (from the Alps), and a part to count the kisses for a charity, and the blue dome in the heart of the city with Milan-England cross.
Many Led works seemed to come from Alice in Wonderland. For "Lucy in the sky with diamonds" John Lennon (oh and no park for him, well done new communist mayor eh) said it's the girl on a boat coming to save him: he lost her but then finds her again at the station.
Video feat. Kerry, Becki, Cristina, Evelina, Francesca, Nicole, Liam, Anna, Silvia, David&Victoria :), Rinascente :), Melissa, Laura, Lambretta, Veronica, Noel&Sara and the timeline... I have it longer :P
Oh and Leonardo Da Vinci :). Funny at the end when Noel laughs.
It all makes sense as usual, Liam in the places of the Betrothed -> Manzoni.
For us, these places could be even shit sometimes, and I'd rather live anywhere else, but I know for tourists they're wonderful, because you can breathe history. Sometimes it's the tourists "saving us", telling us they like them, when they come to visit and we show the places.
For the series : "...the Duomo is breathtaking to say the least. Milano women are ridiculously stylish and fabulously slim, gorgeous beings. We get chatting to Marco who was around for Paolo Nutini arriving and had given him a quick hand shake then sloped off, (you know how cool guys like to play it), he is really a Brit Indie lad at heart trapped inside the body of an Italian guy, his taste in music is fabulous. He shaped my pizza into a love heart. Italian men are so smooth!" (Jacq)

I posted about historic concerts, the Beatles only one time in Italy (1965), Led Zeppelin only one time in Italy (1971), the Queen only one time in Italy (1984), etc. There's no particular reason why those legendary bands came only one time (well, for Led Zeppelin there is - hooligans war). Maybe just because time ago it was different... in fact, in recent times I met Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr coming again, I've seen Robert Plant coming again, Jimmy Page too, the Queen came again, of course without Freddie Mercury.
I was posting about California girls, so here is the Beach Boys only one time in Italy (2003), with one difference: I was there :). In those years we were going to loads of concerts, I was really a gig animal, now I'm not even going to Noel Gallagher's - ...unthinkable, time ago.
It was 8 years ago in a November cold and rainy day - not really the California scenery :), more an English one. So you needed a lot of enthusiasm to go there. The venue was the Mediolanum Forum (capacity: more than 10,000), but I've read about only 2,000 people were there. So probably this was also the Beach Boys last time in Italy :), but there were some rumours about them coming again soon. On stage: surfboards, palm trees, it was nice to see. The people were not really young, especially in their 40s or 50s with their wives - so we were an exception :).
"Please welcome...America's band!" There were only 2 original Beach Boys survivors, Bruce Johnston and Mike Love (in Hawaiian shirts and cap, continuously "giving a five" to the people), plus 6 other good musicians, 'cause Brian Wilson, author of their best songs, was touring alone (the other two Wilson brothers are not with us anymore). Johnstone had to sing in falsetto voice that was originally sung by Carl Wilson - not really an easy task (that was probably the best falsetto ever), in songs like the masterpiece "God only knows" (the "perfect song", according to Richard Ashcroft and Paul McCartney, "best song ever written", Pet Sounds influencing the Beatles).
I recorded the concert on a tape, so I've got another little piece of history. They played about 35 songs (!), even if some of them are short, of course almost all of them were big hits (the only famous one they didn't play was "I can hear music").
"California girls", "Surfin' U.S.A.", "Wouldn't it be nice", "Sloop John B", "Little Deuce Coupe", "Fun Fun Fun", "Do you wanna dance?", "Dance, dance, dance", "When I grow up (to be a man)", "Then I kissed her", "I get around", "Surfin' Safari", "Be true to your school", two sweet ones like "Surfer girl" and "Don't worry baby", "God only knows", "California dreamin' " (by the Mamas and the Papas), "Why do fools fall in love" (by Frankie Lymon & the Teenagers), "Rock'n'roll music", "Good Vibrations", "Barbara Ann" (big roar from the crowd), "Kokomo", "Help me Rhonda", "Little Honda", "Summertime blues", etc.
A very good performance and the people were enthusiastic and dancing (even onstage, 3 girls with 1 boy per time). Now we can say we've been to a Beach Boys gig :)

Even if nothing to do with motorbikes, we brought @ the Eicma the helmet Button used at the Suzuka GP (and won), the white one with red sun as tribute to Japan, as Beady Eye did.
Nice coincidence on 11.11.11 at about 11:11am :) at the Eicma I found a stunning model I already knew, from (beer) Plzen, Czech Republic, where AC Milan will play next month.

a tribute video of mine, with the Beatles cover "Across the universe". Songs as this one will be used in the film about the Beatles produced by Liam Gallagher (maybe also actor)

The biggest motorcycle show in the world. It takes days to see really everything, it's huge. We had some funny moment, the girls are working until Sunday. Some of them were the same of last year.
After some hours I noticed there were even the motorbikes, LOL. The photos don't give (never)  he idea of how beautiful the girls are, you must go there. My favourite part was of course the legendary mod Lambretta.

some pics, videos and 2 songs: Better day (Ocean Colour Scene, you can read Lambretta) and Friday I'm in love (The Cure). There's something for Simoncelli, "uno di noi", one of us.

the "Speeding Birds" (mix between Beady Eye and Noel Gallagher albums, lol), or The Roller girls. Ok ok I know your favourite one is not here, but it was impossible to choose 3 for a podium, so I chose some (almost) randomly. Also, special mention for Simona from Czech Republic.
Always looking for new faces, let us know if anyone wants to work for this next year. Not really hard work eh.  The hard part belongs to the boys ^_^ ...now stop with double senses. But I can't really stay for a long time in these places...just some hours... I mean, after all, we are men, not made of stone :)
Some girls were very "affectionate"... embracing me as Liam Gallagher did. Sorry Liam - I prefer the girls :)

meanwhile, just to keep the post about Oasis :), but babes are a classic of an English tabloid, though they'd go topless there - as I announced days ago, Noel plays Zurich, Switzerland, as my last Oasis gig with two Swiss girls on the front row and Noel winking an eye at me. Am I going there? Nah.. too expensive.. I'd rather save money for the Hungary GP, where Button and McLaren often win (of course I'm not going there because of the beautiful girls :). Unless some girls pay me for a threesome again. Nice experience.

Unless some girls pay me for a threesome again. Nice experience.

Oh Jesus, lol. California girl oh yeah :). Ok, end of the article.
Today 11-11-11 the Eicma pays tribute to women, and we do the same, to USA.
Alyssa Miller may be a failed footballer — but she's certainly kept herself in shape.
The American model from Los Angeles always wanted to be a soccer star and thought that she would make it to the top.
But the 21-year-old "born on the 4th of July" has had to contend with showing off her skills without her kit — and left the dribbling to others.
The Californian would have been a handful for any defender as our gorgeous pictures for Italian underwear firm Intimissimi show.
And Alyssa did make her name in the sport this year — after posing for her debut shoot in the legendary Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She had previously thought that if she ever appeared in Sports Illustrated it would be for soccer. The football mad babe said: "I thought for sure that I would go pro. But it's still exciting to be in the sports world in my own way." ...agreed.
Hey America, just in case you're still here, Marco-Amerigo Vespucci is available to discover America ^_^

STOCKHOLM - No it's not a news about some other Berlusconi girl, lol.
"Tremate, gente"... people, you should tremble :). The autobiography by AC Milan ace Zlatan Ibrahimovic from Sweden will be published in a few days ("Jag är Zlatan Ibrahimović" - "Io, Ibra", more than 400 pages), but already caused a scandal, especially in Italy and Spain, 'cause, from the previews, he wrote about everyone (if I wrote one about fashion world, for what I'd say I would get arrested, lol), some delicate matters, as Barcelona manager Guardiola (shouting on his face: "you have no balls", lol...maybe also referring to Noel Gallagher haha), Inter and their..internal (sorry for the pun) divisions in "clans" (the Argentinians), etc.
The Swedish striker said he's waiting for Guardiola in Milan on 23 November... not really important game for the group, 'cause both teams already qualified, but important for being Milan-Barcelona. In the first game in Spain, Milan had a good draw, even without Ibra and other players.
I like Guardiola, but I was right this summer: Barcelona will fail soon or later, in fact Real Madrid is first now in Spain. Maybe Barcelona will win the Champions League, but it's not really sure.
Ibra is a "very Oasis" character, "I am Ibra, who the fuck are you?" lol
He's winning leagues every season since 2001, everywhere he goes, Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, now said he's staying here until the end of his career.

It seems that AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi is gonna leave politics and dedicate himself more to football, as before 1994 when AC was always winning. Not that we stopped... In fact, he's the most winning president in history.
Sometimes he couldn't buy expensive players because he's the prime minister and so with the international crisis he couldn't show himself spending a lot. If now he thinks about football only, other teams should be even more worried...

69, nice number, lol. Tomorrow 7 November, it's her 69. birthday and from 8 to 13 November we organize that 69. Eicma moto event I already posted (job for girls always available), with Milano mod Lambretta (this was the 1967 calendar), that is also in Pretty Green stores and was on Oasis' Be Here Now and Don't Go Away (in red&black AC Milan RossoNeri colours :) nad also Manchester City's). The Gallaghers used the Italian scooters as the Vespa, that is also protagonist in the film Quadrophenia.
Free entry for women/girls on 11-11-2011, the place is where Oasis had to perform their last concert ever in 2009 (Fiera Expo 2015).

Jean Rosemary Shrimpton (also Jean Cox, born 7 November 1942 in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire) is an English model and actress. She was an icon of Swinging London and is considered to be one of the world's first supermodels.
Shrimpton graduated from Lucie Clayton's modelling school at 17 and began modelling in 1960. She has appeared on the covers of popular magazines such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Elle, Ladies' Home Journal, Newsweek, and Time. During her career, Shrimpton was widely reported to be the "world's highest paid model", the "most famous model", and the "most photographed in the world". She was also described as having the "world's most beautiful face".
She was dubbed "The It Girl", "The Face", "The Face of the Moment", and "The Face of the '60s".
Glamour named her "Model of The Year" in June 1963. She contrasted the aristocratic-looking models of the 1950s by representing the coltish, gamine look of the youthquake movement in 1960s Swinging London, and she was reported as "the symbol of Swinging London." By breaking the popular mould of voluptuous figures with her long legs and slim figure, she was nicknamed "The Shrimp". Shrimpton was also known for her long hair with bangs (fringe hairstyle), wide doe-eyes,long wispy eyelashes, arched brows, and pouty lips.
Shrimpton also helped launch the miniskirt. In 1965, Shrimpton caused a sensation in Melbourne, Australia, when she arrived for the Victoria Derby wearing a white shift dress designed by Colin Rolfe which ended 10 cm (3.9 in) above her knees. She wore no hat, stockings or gloves and wore a man's watch, which was unusual at the time. Shrimpton was unaware she would cause such reaction in the Melbourne community and media.
In her article "The Man in the Bill Blass Suit", Nora Ephron tells of the time when Jean Shrimpton posed for a Revlon ad in an antique white Chantilly lace dress by Blass. Minutes after the lipstick placard hit the drugstores, the Revlon switchboard lit up with calls from women demanding to know where they could buy the dress.
Shrimpton was once engaged to photographer David Bailey. They met in 1960 at a photo shoot that Shrimpton, who was then an unknown model, was working on with photographer Brian Duffy for a Kellogg's corn flakes advertisement. Duffy told Bailey she was too posh for him, but Bailey was undeterred, and he and Shrimpton subsequently had a relationship for four years, ending in 1964. During the affair, Bailey was still married to his first wife Rosemary Bramble but left her after nine months and later divorced to be with Shrimpton.
Shrimpton's first photo session with Bailey was in 1960 (either for Condé Nast's Brides on 7 December 1960 or for British Vogue). She started to become known in the modelling world around the time she was dating Bailey. Shrimpton has stated she owed Bailey her career, and he is often credited for discovering her and being influential in her career. In turn, she was Bailey's muse, and his photographs of her helped him rise to prominence in his early career. Shrimpton's other celebrated romance was with actor Terence Stamp. She married photographer Michael Cox in 1979 at Penzance register office when she was four months pregnant with their son Thaddeus (born in 1979). They own the Abbey Hotel in Penzance, Cornwall, now managed by Thaddeus and his family.
Her younger sister Chrissie was also an actress, linked to both Mick Jagger and Steve Marriott of the Small Faces.
In March 2011, the BBC announced that the story of her relationship with David Bailey will be explored in a film, We'll Take Manhattan, with Karen Gillan playing the part of Shrimpton.
(not really looking amazing as Jean...)
